Academy of Medical Sciences Launches Springboard Scheme

The Academy of Medical Sciences has launched a new scheme for biomedical researchers called Springboard.

The scheme is designed to support researchers at the start of their first independent post and includes funding of up to £100,000 over two years and access to the Academy's acclaimed mentoring and career development programme.

The first round of the scheme is now open for applications from eligible institutions.

Nominated applications must be submitted to the Academy by 5 pm on Monday 7 December.
