NIAA Board Chair Prof Grocott re-appointed as NIHR Senior Investigator

The NIAA is congratulating NIAA Board Chair Prof Mike Grocott in being re-appointed as a National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Senior Investigator for 2022.

Professor Grocott was one of 25 renewals and will be joined by 30 new appointments. He is the only anaesthetist on the list this year, and one of only four who have ever been appointed.

NIHR Senior Investigators represent NIHR's most prominent and prestigious researchers and are critical to the development of research capability and capacity to improve the future health of the nation.

Prof Grocott has served as NIAA Board Chair since 2018.
