Results of the John Snow Anaesthesia Intercalated BSc Award
In March 2013 the NIAA announced a new initiative for undergraduate medical students to provide financial support for intercalated BSc projects.
The awards were funded by the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI)/Anaesthesia and British Journal of Anaesthesia/Royal College of Anaesthetists and were designed to capture and encourage medical student interest in anaesthetics and its related disciplines.
The review panel was delighted to make seven awards in total and a list of the successful applicants can be found here.
Each applicant has been awarded £2000 which will contribute towards living costs while engaged in their iBSc.
All students have been asked to produce a final report following the conclusion of their studies and details will be added to the NIAA website in due course.
