2017 - Round 2
On Wednesday 6 December, the NIAA Grants Committee met to consider the second round of applications for 2017 on behalf of the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain & Ireland (AAGBI) and Anaesthesia, the British Journal of Anaesthesia (BJA) and the Royal College of Anaesthetists (RCoA), the Difficult Airway Society (DAS), the Neuroanaesthesia and Critical Care Society of Great Britain and Ireland (NACCSGBI), and Regional Anaesthesia UK (RA-UK).
The committee considered 28 applications over seven categories for a requested sum of £1,029,689 and made a total of 14 awards over five categories to a value of £505,003. Success rate: 47%.
