Military Anaesthesia: New case study on NIAA website

High altitude research provides a way of provoking profound physiological changes in a group of subjects and provides an interesting insight into hypoxia and mechanisms of adapatation to hypoxia.

Surgeon Commander Adrian Mellor has written about his recent involvement in a high altitude study based in the Cordillera Real area of Bolivia, involving subjects from across the Defence Medical Services.
